MO Better Foundation Fundraiser Chesterfield
Felix and Fingers were excited to find out this was an inaugural year for MO Better, a Missouri (hence the “MO”) based fundraiser. Mo Better’s mission is to make life “MO Better” for Missouri adults and kids living with permanent physical disabilities. Money raised from the MO Better Foundation Fundraiser auction aided in purchasing items to assist in daily living. Guests arrived at the New Covenant Church ready to place bids on auction items while enjoying our live entertainment. We couldn’t think of a better way to start the MO Better Foundation Fundraiser than with a cocktail hour and song requests. Furthermore, a delicious hot food station allowed guests to help themselves while browsing all the auction items.
To our surprise, there was a whiskey station provided by Wood Hat Spirits. It was interesting to find out this is the first craft distillery in Montgomery County and the only wood-fired still in the country. Besides the vendor wearing a wood hat on his head, the whiskey was great! If you would like more information on Wood Hat Spirits click here.
A Very Supportive Crowd
Felix and Finger’s dueling show was a blast! The MO Better Foundation fundraiser was a very supportive crowd. It was great to see that the guests made sure the auction raised a substantial amount of funds. Felix and Fingers were having so much fun performing that everyone staged a conga line within 10 minutes of starting the show! On the other hand, Dave, who organized this event, was actually celebrating his birthday on this same day. Although he didn’t mention this fact to anyone, it was a good thing his family was there to let us know. The surprise was on him when we ended the show with everyone singing Happy Birthday!
