What a beautiful day we had when we played for the Les Bourgeois Vineyards Wedding.  Fall weddings can be tricky with weather and maybe it’s because we were in the South, but this day was just perfect.

Our bride and groom chose an outdoor ceremony on the Les Bourgeois Vineyards property.  This small outcropping overlooking the MIssouri River was perfect for a Fall wedding.  The trees on both banks of the river were at their peak fall coloring and as the couple exchanged their vows, the sun was setting.  Between the gorgeous fall colors and the setting sun, the scene was breathtaking indeed.  If you think you might like this for your upcoming wedding ceremony, click here to find out more about this venue.

Les Bourgeois Vineyards Wedding venueOur performers reported that they found an excellent staff and an amazing venue.  It was our first time there so we are excited that we can put it on our list of exceptional places at which we love to perform.  Obviously, there is a winery on the property but the event venue itself is a separate location.  This also functions as a restaurant which is on the second floor.  While the restaurant can also be rented for any event, our couple chose to have their dinner and dancing on the first floor.  Since their group was a bit on the smaller side with about 90 people, this was just perfect.  The space didn’t seem too large for that size reception although it has the capacity for many more.

Cocktails, Dinner, and Dancing

For the Les Bourgeois Vineyards wedding, our performers played live music during cocktails and dinner.  If you’re booking us for your wedding, you might want to consider this.  Not only does it create the perfect ambiance, it has your guests really looking forward to our dueling piano show.  And this group was definitely excited to have us there!  They had a blast on the dance floor and also as they sang along to all of their favorite requests.  We had a great mix of music too.  We played some great country music with Dolly Parton’s I will Always Love You and Willie Nelson’s On the Road Again.

Les Bourgeois Vineyards Wedding guestsOn the Road Again was kind of a perfect choice as this couple was leaving for Italy three days later.  The groom is an active duty army sergeant and that is where they will be stationed.  This became especially touching when the bride’s mother requested LeAnn Rimes’ How Do I Live.   And, of course, we played some great dance party hits too.  One of our favorites was Girls Just Wanna Have Fun by Cyndi Lauper.  The bridesmaids and other friends had a great time on the dance floor with that one.
