A small crowd doesn’t mean a boring crowd. And that was, yet again, proven to be true at this Hermann Hill Weddings Celebration. Hermann, Missouri was the home for this gorgeous wedding. What a wonderful day it was celebrating the marriage of Tanya and Walter.

Hermann Hill Weddings Celebration Venue

Hermann Hill Weddings Celebration venueHere at Felix and Fingers, we do more weddings than anything else, so we see a lot of wedding venues. So when we say that we have found a true gem of a venue, you can believe it. Overlooking the Missouri River, Hermann Hill Weddings has views to die for. The expansive vista is just the perfect backdrop for your special day. But that’s not all. The grounds are also quite amazing as is the indoor décor. The full-length windows in the pavilion allow so much light and just add to the gorgeous views. Add in a top-notch staff and charming lodgings, and you have the perfect wedding venue. You’ll find Hermann Hill Weddings about halfway between St. Louis and Jefferson City and we hope you check it out. You can do so by clicking here. Believe us; you will not be disappointed.

Something for Everyone

We began our evening playing live music for a pre-ceremony cocktail hour. Our loving couple have enjoyed their travels and love to hear “yacht rock.” We obliged with instrumental versions of Sailing by Christopher Cross, Rupert Holmes Escape, and Hermann Hill Weddings Celebration dance floormuch, much more.  Finally it was time to tie the knot and what a touching ceremony it was. Tanya and Walter are an older couple and it is so heartening to see that one can find love at any age. And that love can also include the whole family. After this lovely couple had their own special first dance, they next included their grandchildren to dance with them. What a truly special moment!

This was a small group but they were quite lively and kept our star pianists, T. Duncan Parker and Michael Shermann, busy all night. With everything from torch songs to classic rock, the requests were all over the place. Frank Sinatra’s The Way You Look Tonight had all the couples swaying on the dance floor. It’s Only Rock n’ Roll from The Rolling Stones brought out some great moves and we even had some line dancing to Boot Scootin’ Boogie by Brooks & Dunn. All in all, it was another successful night for Felix and Fingers Dueling Pianos. Congratulations to Walter and Tanya!
