Heart of St. Charles Wedding
As we set up, we had the ability to look around the ballroom. A large wooden dance floor was the center piece of the room with circular banquet tables arranged around it. White drapery hung from the walls with accent lights shining onto them, creating a romantic atmosphere. Crystal chandeliers hung from the ceiling, casting a soft and warm glow onto the venue.
We could tell the couple spent a lot of time planning out every detail for the decorations from the tables alone. Each place setting included a tea candle, a purple napkin, silverware, a chocolate covered pretzel stick and crystal water glasses. The centerpieces, a bouquet of white peonies with silver branches, stood tall, giving guests the ability to see each other across the table.
‘Four Weddings’ and A Trumpet
This wedding was featured on the hit TLC show, “Four Weddings,” so camera people joined us as we set up. As quests began arriving from the ceremony, serving staff invited them to the mashed potato bar. Once everyone was seated, we introduced the couple for the first time. Their first dance was a choreographed number to a mega mix, and guests loved it. After their dance concluded, dinner was served and the party truly began.
These energetic guests crowded the dance floor as we began our set. After a few songs, we invited the groom’s uncle to play with us on his trumpet. It was such a fun time collaborating with him, and he blew the crowd away. We had a bunch of requests for line dancing songs as well as quite a few sing alongs. Everyone was on top of their game as the cameras wove through the dance floor. The other three brides blended right in with the couple’s family and friends and even allowed themselves to be swept into the conga line started by the groom’s uncle.
Over all, this wedding was a beautiful celebration of the love this couple shares, and we wish them luck as they battle it out for an all-expenses-paid honeymoon on “Four Weddings!”
