The Frauenthal Center Open House was a one of a kind performance in a gorgeous venue. Felix and Fingers Dueling Pianos traveled to Muskegon, Michigan to play for this event. This is a gorgeous event venue and we were so happy to be a part of their welcoming open house.
Frauenthal Center Open House
Felix and Fingers plays for all sorts of events and this open house was one of the more unique ones at which we’ve performed. We were one of many acts that performed on the Frauenthal’s main stage throughout this event. As people were touring this fabulous facility, they could stop and 
enjoy our dueling piano performance. This is unique to us as were more used to having the audience with us for the entire show. We have to admit, however, that some guests chose to listen to us for the entire time we played. Your Felix and Fingers performers really know how to capture your attention and hook you in so you don’t want to leave and miss one thing.
We were thrilled to play on nine-feet long Steinway concert grand pianos. It’s not everyday we can do that and the instruments not only looked classy, they sounded terrific. We entertained with all sorts of music. Frank Sinatra songs made an appearance with New York, New York and Strangers in the NIght. We had a request for John Denver’s Country Roads so we played that as well as his Thank God I’m a Country Boy. If I Could Turn Back Time from Cher was a big hit as was Bon Jovi’s Livin’ on a Prayer. This was a show only performance, not a dancing event, but we still saw a few people dancing in the aisles. The Frauenthal Center Open House was a special event and we truly enjoyed playing at this awesome venue.
The Frauenthal Center Venue
You can find the Frauenthal Center right in downtown Muskegon, Michigan. This venue has just about everything. You have your choice of stages, event spaces, art galleries, and even office space. It dates from 1929 and has quite an interesting and long history. If you’re looking for a wonderful location for a wedding or other special event, be sure to take a look at the Frauenthal Center.
