To begin with, the Ford Piquette Avenue Plant wedding event was a night to remember! Representing Felix and Fingers were our very own Katrina Nilsen and Jim Gritschke. This super cool, Model T Automotive Plant is located in Detroit, Michigan. Not only is this a year round museum, but the Plant attracts visitors from around the world. Felix and Fingers wish Scott and Celeste a lifetime of love and happiness!

The Ford Piquette Avenue Plant wedding event took place on 2 separate floors. The first floor holds an amazing display of original model Fords. Also, Mr. Ford’s race car and a variety of other vintage automobiles served as a spectacular backdrop for the ceremony. Did we mention the wedding party was putting back White Claws before the processional? Need we say more?
Above all, the bride’s dad is a Vietnam Veteran and attended the Ford Piquette Avenue Plant wedding event in a wheelchair. He made the day perfect by not only being able to walk Celeste down the aisle, but he was also able to stand from his chair long enough to dance with his daughter at this reception. How awesome is that?! The second floor is where the party went down. Cocktail hour had Katrina and Jim working double time playing requests such as Lovely Day by Bill Withers keeping guests on the dance floor. On the other hand, we really enjoyed the signature bourbon and gin cocktails. They were super tasty and expertly crafted. Everyone was having a great time!
A Museum Showcase Wedding Event
Dinner was amazing. Everything was top-notch at the Ford Piquette Avenue Plant wedding event. There was a beef carving station, build your own mac n cheese with dozens of toppings and grilled skewers of beef, lamb and tuna. Something for everyone! We played a variety of music, most of it jazz. In fact, a few requests for Sweet Caroline by Neil Diamond had our audience stop what they were doing and sing along. It was so much FUN!
At one point of the evening, Celeste wanted to sing, so we just went along with it and let her have the stage. Everyone took their phones out and recorded her amazing performance. The bride belted out a great rendition of That Don’t Impress Me Much by Shania Twain. Blame the open bar and White Claws!
Before we wrapped up, things got a little crazy. The floor was on fire to songs such as Burn It to the Ground by Nickelback, while Lil’ John & The East Side Boyz had everyone Get Low. Felix and Fingers made sure the grand exit was timed perfectly playing Treasure by Bruno Mars as everyone sang in harmony for the finale. It was AWESOME!
