The AstraZeneca campus in Gaithersburg, Maryland, recently played host to an extraordinary event that had everyone tapping their feet and singing along. The occasion? A lively corporate event featuring the talented Felix And Fingers Dueling Pianos.
An Unforgettable Venue
The AstraZeneca campus was nothing short of amazing, reflecting the company’s significant investment in employee culture. The venue was buzzing with energy, hosting a massive event that had a little something for everyone. From a jazz combo and a DJ to a casino for the employees, the atmosphere was electric. One of the unique highlights was a water station humorously named “Melted Snowflakes,” which was a hit among the attendees.
A Night of Music and Merriment
The main attraction of the night was, of course, the dueling pianos. The players had everyone’s attention from the moment they started, with modern songs, especially 2000s to 2020 pop punk, ruling the playlist. There was a particular table of Taylor Swift fans who requested the 10-minute version of “All Too Well.” Although the players didn’t know the extended version, they kept the Swift fans entertained by playing several normal-length Taylor Swift songs throughout the night.
One of the big highlights was when the crowd got into the groove, dancing to Proud Mary by Tina Turner. In a hilarious twist, the pianists played “It’s Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas” right after “Still DRE,” creating an amusing and memorable moment.
AstraZeneca: A Client Like No Other
The event was a holiday party for all the amazing employees of AstraZeneca, and they certainly know how to have FUN! The day started off with a presentation and gift giveaway, setting the tone for the rest of the event. The Felix And Fingers team had an amazing time working with Maritza and her team, with a special shout out to Mario from the tech team.
All in all, it was a spectacular event, and Felix And Fingers cannot wait to return next year for another round of dueling pianos, laughter, and good times.
