Bourbon Vieux – A New Orleans Wedding
New Orleans is always one of our favorite cities to perform in. I mean, how could it not be? It is a city filled with lively people, delicious food, exciting music, and a rich culture. It is nearly impossible to have a bad time in New Orleans. The home of Mardi Gras is also home to the venue Bourbon Vieux where we were lucky enough to play at for a wedding.
Bourbon Vieux on Bourbon Street
The Bourbon Vieux is located on the famous Bourbon Street. Bourbon Street is located in the heart of New Orleans’ oldest neighborhood, The French Quarter, making this venue the perfect location for the wedding parties many out of town guests.
Bourbon Street: Laissez Les Bons Temps Rouler
For those that don’t know what “laissez les bons temps rouler” means, it is French for “let the good times roll”. Bourbon Vieux truly helped make the wedding’s good times roll with their exceptional venue and service.

The wedding had a “Great Gatsby” theme and the venue stopped at nothing short of excellence to help execute this theme. The place was decorated to ‘20s perfection. Along with the decorations, the food was outstanding and the staffs made its guests feel even greater than Gatsby! Having such a pleased crowd made our performance that much more fun. Everyone was dancing, singing, and overall having the best time!
The Bourbon Vieux in New Orleans nailed this wedding reception. We had wedding guests on our flight back and they were still raving about how great it was! And we couldn’t have agreed more.
