Laissez Les Bon Temps Roulez! That’s what they say in Louisiana and that’s what we were saying when we traveled to Mandeville to play for this Maison Laffitte Wedding.
Maison Laffitte Wedding
This beautiful antebellum era home is now a gorgeous wedding and event space. Accommodating up to 300 people, you can have the wedding of your dreams here. Full of nostalgia and charm, you and your guests will feel like you’ve stepped back in time. The outdoor pavilion area is just beautiful with its surrounding greenery. And they can take care of everything you need here too. With catering from The Lakehouse, you will dine on scrumptious southern cuisine that is out of this world. We felt so lucky being able to perform here. It is, indeed, a very special venue and hopefully we will play there again. An Artist’s Dream
This was truly an artist’s dream wedding. Besides the spectacular venue, our wedding couple had hired an artist to paint various wedding scenes. The work turned out beautifully and we’re sure it will be even more special as they grow together in marriage. There was even a caricature artist on hand too. What a great time everyone was having but it was even better when we began to play. We played Jambalaya (On The Bayou) because, of course, we were in Louisiana. We also couldn’t help play a bit of When The Saints Go Marching In. But we played some great dance music too such as Lady Gaga’s Born This Way. The night turned out to be a huge success.
