This Arterra Event Gallery Wedding brought Felix and Fingers to Lawrence, Kansas for the wedding of Alicen and Brenton. With a superb venue and a super lively crowd, we had a blast. Even with the no dancing Covid-19 restriction, this was a beautiful and very fun wedding.

If you’ve been searching for a gorgeous event venue in the Lawrence area, look no further. The Arterra Event Gallery has everything you need and more. With soaring high ceilings and full length windows, it is truly a stunning venue. We found the staff to be very helpful, not only with the guests but with our load in and out as well. There had been a recent surge in pandemic cases so restrictions were in full force. But not to worry here as the staff handled all with professionalism and supreme care. This is not an easy thing and we could tell they took things seriously and knew what was needed. We’re happy to give a strong recommendation to the Arterra Event Gallery. Sing A Long Fun
A packed dance floor is usually our goal here at Felix and Fingers. But with major restrictions in place, that was not possible. No worries here though. Life still goes on which includes weddings. And we still want your wedding to be as fun and inclusive as possible. Our bride and groom, along with help from the groom’s mother, made sure to have a pre-chosen list of sing a longs they wanted to hear. Guests had a beautiful booklet so they could sing all the words – behind their masks of course. We enjoyed seeing all the smiling eyes as they belted out tunes such as Sweet Caroline from Neil Diamond and Journey’s Don’t Stop Believin’.
In order to limit interaction, guests filled out request slips at their tables. These were then brought to our pianists by the very capable Arterra staff. And they kept the requests coming all night. The two adorable flower girls wanted Disney so we were sure to oblige with Let It Go from Frozen and a few others. We had both sides of the room competing to Queen’s Bohemian Rhapsody which was a ton of fun. And Elton John’s Tiny Dancer had all singing and swaying with delight.
