Felix and Fingers had a BLAST performing at the NCMIC fundraiser event located in Clive, Iowa. NCMIC Group, Inc. was founded in 1946 and is therefore the nation’s largest provider of chiropractic malpractice insurance. NCMIC Group, Inc. hired Felix and Fingers to help raise funds for United Way of Central Iowa. Our performers, Will O’Keefe and Robert Deason had a TON of FUN interacting with everyone. In all honesty, this was one of the funniest shows they have ever performed!

Every year, NCMIC Group, Inc. holds a super FUN, week long fundraiser to help lead a fight for the health, education and financial stability of all central Iowans. Felix and Fingers were excited to be a part of such an amazing event. We also donated all of our tips back towards NCMIC Group, Inc. proudly supporting United Way of Central Iowa. To start with, we had a table close to our pianos completely dressed in 70’s attire. The rest of the room was in casual clothes. Felix and Fingers took this opportunity to break the ice. Hence, we laid on tons of jokes and pokes at the Joni Mitchell, Bianca Jagger and Cher wannabes. The laughter in this room was contagious!
Furthermore, NCMI Group, Inc. team members put THE COOLEST keyboard decor up on the walls and tables. In fact, sheet music was turned into cones that held different snacks and were fastened to the walls. Felix and Fingers LOVED the piano vibe from the moment we walked in the door!
A Successful and Fun Fundraiser
Felix and Fingers had everyone singing and dancing from the moment they arrived. Not only was this a memorable event, but we really connected with this fun loving crowd. As of this party, NCMIC Group Inc. had already raised over $60,000 dollars through their various fundraising!
Robert and Will had fun raising money for United Way of Central Iowa. As a matter of fact, our guests threw down singles to twenties just to hear their songs requests. Felix and Fingers LOVED how in the middle of Iowa, on a workday, our audience requested Disney songs. Robert nailed Part of Your World from The Little Mermaid and then, of course, Will followed up with a crowd favorite Hakuna Matata from The Lion King. It was great seeing this happy group of people really enjoying our show!
