Felix and Fingers couldn’t have been happier to hear we were returning to Iowa City for some Celebration Farm Wedding Fun. This is one of our absolute favorite Iowa venues. And it turned out to be an awesome show!
Celebration Farm Wedding Fun Event
If you’ve spent any time at all reading our blog, you know we go to a ton of venues. So when we say this is one of our favorites, you can be sure it is truly awesome. They have two different options for your reception. For this Celebration Farm Wedding Fun event, we played in the Timberframe building. It is the smaller of the two which was the perfect size for this smaller, more intimate wedding. There is also a beautiful second level with additional seating. Celebration of Love
It was just beautiful to see this couple celebrate their love with friends and family. The feeling of love was truly in the air and everyone couldn’t have been happier. The day began with a ceremony at a nature preserve about 20 minutes away from the reception location. Our dueling pianists split up so Jim could set up at Celebration Farm and Duncan could travel to the ceremony. He played a beautiful set there on a glass railed patio overlooking a beautiful lake and wooded area. It was just stunning.
Then our star performers were back together and put on a no holds barred, all out amazing show. This started with dinner introductions. Our bride thought it would be fun to mix up the order of the tables being released for dinner. So Jim turned it into a fun game with rhymes and all. Cheers were going out like crazy when he called the numbers. What a great start to a great show.
There was something for everyone with song requests going from Dancing Queen by ABBA to Lizzo’s Good As Hell. Our happy couple didn’t leave the dance floor all night. Surrounded by their loved ones, it was easy to see this was going to be one successful marriage. And it all began with a Felix and Fingers major dance party!
