Felix and Fingers headed just north of Iowa City, Iowa for the Celebration Farm Wedding of Catie and Justin. We found a wonderful venue with exceptional scenery, decor, and more. We loved The Celebration Farm and couldn’t wait to tell you about it.
Celebration Farm Wedding Venue
First, the ceremony space. The outdoor ceremony patio has layered arches that are creamy white against a lush green background. It really is the perfect spot to say “I do.” The officiant was 45 minutes late but everyone stayed calm and collected while waiting. The Celebration Farm made sure everyone was comfortable inside until he arrived.
Once the ceremony was over, we headed in to a gorgeous reception space. Beautiful wood ceilings were the backdrop for sparkling lights and exquisite chandeliers. There are two large event spaces to choose from and both are divine. The barrel shaped wooden ceiling is truly an architectural masterpiece. It seemed the guests couldn’t take their eyes off the ceiling for quite some time. Dinner was served buffet style and The Celebration Farm crew made sure everything went as smoothly as possible. We had some delicious dishes and we were almost too full to try out the dessert table but, well you know. With tiny cheese cakes, pies, pastries, cookies, and everything else, saying “No” is just not an option. Click here to find out more about The Celebration Farm in Iowa City. 90’s Music Made the Night
The Celebration Farm Wedding crowd wanted 90’s music. Lots of 90’s music. And they loved the Backstreet Boys. When we broke out with As Long as You Love Me, they went crazy! We followed with a couple more Backstreet Boys’ songs throughout the evening and each and every time, the dance floor was full to the max. I’m Too Sexy by Right Said Fred showed us some crazy dance moves and Cotton Eyed Joe from Rednex had everyone kickin’ it up big time. It was a wild and crazy night with a very fun group of people. This group really knew how to have a great time and we always appreciate that.
