The Hotel Blackhawk in Davenport, Iowa is such a cool venue. It has a vintage feel with its sumptuous decor and elegant lighting. You and your guests will enjoy spending your wedding weekend in one of the finest hotels the Quad City area has to offer. This wasn’t our first time at this venue and we have had an awesome experience each and every time. The staff here really knows what they’re doing and will bend over backwards to make sure your day is exactly what you’ve always dreamed it would be. Dining, Dancing, and Post Show Piano Fun
We began the evening by playing light music during the cocktail hour on the mezzanine. This was right outside the reception area and guests mingled and sampled delicious appetizers. Following that, we headed in to a delightful sit down dinner and continued with light dinner music as guests dined on the Hotel Blackhawk’s fine cuisine.
Then, it was time to party. After a touching father/daughter dance to Daddy’s Little Girl by Michael Bublé, we had this group rocking to Bruno Mars’ 24K Magic. Then your favorite dueling piano professionals went into a 90’s medley of popular dance tunes that had the dance floor packed. These guests really knew how to turn it up. Felix and Fingers performers Mike P. and Mike S. worked like crazy to keep up with all of the great requests and we must report, they did an expert job as usual. After our show, we finished the evening in the hotel lobby playing the piano with some of the guests. It was a nice informal ending to a beautiful night.
