This Inaugural Driftless Wedding took place in a brand new venue, The Driftless in Dubuque, Iowa. Felix and Fingers couldn’t have been more proud to be the entertainment at their first ever wedding. We have a few more bookings planned for this wonderful venue and we can’t wait to return. It is awesome!
The Inaugural Driftless Wedding
It is easy to see that The Driftless was designed by event industry professionals because this venue has it all. Truly, they spared no detail in creating an awesome event space. The design is simply stunning with its white walls, marble floors, soaring ceilings, and tons of natural light. We’re sure the wedding photos are going to be absolutely gorgeous.
We also found the staff here to be quite excellent. They displayed an attention to detail that is top notch. Felix goes to many venues all over the country so we know a good staff when we see one and The Driftless definitely comes out on top. One of our favorite details of the night was the his and hers specialty drinks at the bar. For her, our bride chose a Moscow Mule. The groom’s choice was an expertly prepared Old Fashioned. And the drinks are just one example of the many small touches that made this wedding perfect. A Full Band Night of Fun, Fun, Fun
Felix and Fingers Dueling Pianos is, of course, a dueling piano company. But you may not know that we offer many options to our standard dueling piano show. For this Inaugural Driftless Wedding, our couple chose to add a guitar, a saxophone, and the drums for a complete full band show. Talk about amping it up! From great guitar rifts to sax solos, the night couldn’t have been any better.
It was a show for all ages with everything from 60’s music to rap and the dance floor rocked the entire time. One More Time from Daft Punk and Christina Aguilera’s Lady Marmalade sure showed us some great dance moves from the 2000’s. With a Felix and Fingers full band, we made sure to start this venue’s entertainment off right! Finally, it was time to wind things down but not before a late night snack. Our performers were super thrilled to find Happy Joe’s Pizza, an Iowa delicacy, after their performance. Yum!
