We can honestly say there’s never a dull moment in the entertainment industry. Felix and Fingers performed at the Veraestau wedding event overlooking the Ohio river. A combination of 4 Latin words give this historical home it’s unique name…spring, summer and fall. No winter allowed at Veraestau! Congratulations Pamela and Andrew!
Veraestau Wedding Event with a View
Felix and Fingers arrived in Aurora, Indiana at an AMAZING Veraestau wedding event. Actually, we were simply in awe of this historical landmark on 350 acres with stunning views of the Ohio river. This estate is the father of the bride’s property and the ceremony was unbelievable. To begin with, 400 guests were directed by attentive staff to be seated outdoors on a beautiful day facing the Ohio river.
The bride and groom exchanged vows set high on a bluff under a custom made pergola made of giant Greek columns. The view was spectacular. As a matter of fact, Veraestau is available to rent for tours, memorable occasions and photography sessions upon request. After an incredible outdoor ceremony, we couldn’t believe our eyes when tractors pulling two train cars arrived to move guests. The bride and groom’s family used these train cars to transport people from the ceremony to reception. To illustrate this transfer, it was similar to what you see at large resorts or amusement parks.
A Remarkable Reception
The Veraestau wedding event had guests talking for weeks. For instance, several rooms of the estate offered cocktails and hor d’oeuvre’s with reception. Additionally, Pamela and Andrew hired the finest, local chefs ensuring their dinner was of top quality and presentation. A professional serving staff went out of their way to make sure guests enjoyed themselves.
There was a separate tent on the Veraestau wedding grounds that was strictly for dancing. All the guests were once again transported via the train cars joining us in the tent after dinner for a night of fun and dancing. We could tell the crowd was ready to party so we kicked it into high gear right away.
A constant flow of 400 guests packed the dance floor to songs like Boom Boom Pow by the Black Eyed Peas and 1999 by Prince. On the other hand, the groom played football for Ohio, so naturally, they made sure the game was on via a projector in the reception tent. Seeing that this crowd was not slowing down, we kept the tent on fire with On the Floor by Jennifer Lopez feat. Pit Bull and finished out the night with Wild Thing by Tone Loc. Felix and Fingers found that to be appropriate, as it was indeed a wild and crazy night!
