The purpose of this Uptown Center School Fundraiser was to raise money for Notre Dame Catholic School. This was a high class event and as always, Felix and Fingers made sure that the school earned the most money possible. People LOVE us at fundraisers. We’ve been doing them for a while and we really know how to show everyone a great time. We also know how to get them to open up their pockets too!
The Uptown Center School Fundraiser for Notre Dame
First, let’s talk about this wonderful venue. We’ve played for weddings at The Uptown Center before and we love it. And it was just as perfect for a fundraiser. This venue is incredibly unique and drop dead gorgeous. The two story ballroom is simply stunning but even more, we love the massive pipe organ. It creates a backdrop that will be outstanding for your pictures. Secondly, the staff here is quite excellent. We know that they will give you the best service around. Fundraising Fun
For the Uptown Center School Fundraiser our performer, Mike, was the auctioneer. He had some pretty aggressive bidding going on and, just ask him, he brought in a ton of money with his live auction skills. He did do quite an excellent job. Besides the live auction, there was a silent auction, raffles, and of course, our show. Felix and Fingers dueling pianos really know how to help your organization raise the big bucks. First of all, any tips we receive when people request songs goes right back to 
you. Secondly, when people hear that we are the entertainment, you’re sure to fill those seats.
One of the raffles at this event was a Jeep. The raffle tickets were $100 each but they sold plenty. Someone tipped us $200 to bring up the principal and have a little fun with her. She was a great sport and of course, all that money went right back to the school. Everyone was dressed to the nines for this event and some even had on wonderful 1920’s themed costumes. This atmosphere put everyone in the mood to party and hence, our show was a knock out.
After the initial round of standard requests, we had some young ladies who wanted a lot of R&B and Rap. Boy did they sure tear up the dance floor. Please Me by Cardi B and Bruno Mars brought out some awesome couples who brought a whole new meaning to dirty dancing. Hey folks, this is a school fundraiser don’t forget. Some other songs rounding out our list were Sunflower by Post Malone, J Z’s Empire State of Mind and Love the Way You Lie by Eminem. What a great night this was watching these party goers having a blast. Mike even led an epic game of Heads and Tails that had everyone involved.
