Ruthmere Museum Fundraiser
This museum, originally built as a mansion, hosted this particular fundraiser. This venue was amazing and we were thankful to see much of the museum. We began the evening outside on a patio and played cocktail music. Guests dressed to impress for this Ruthmere Museum Fundraiser as well. We had a guest singer that won a contest in Indiana and she sang several songs and wowed the crowd with her voice and energy. Additionally, guests enjoyed jazz and other light music while chatting, sipping on drinks, and partaking in many different appetizers. After our time outside, we moved inside to the basement where guests joined us for dueling pianos.
Dueling Pianos Show
We finished the show in the basement on a full Steinway grand and Baldwin baby grand piano. The room we were in felt like it came straight out of Disney’s Beauty and the Beast. We had several requests for some old classics like Frank Sinatra and The Beatles as well as a couple of new hits as well. The crowd loved the variety and danced and sang along to the songs as they enjoyed the fundraiser. Again, we accompanied local singer, Janet Hines-Norris, in singing a few songs. She was a hit with the crowd as her vocals soared over the music. Janet sang an extended version of Proud Mary as her final song. The crowd had a great time and we enjoyed playing at this beautiful venue.
