The Columbia Club wedding was definitely a high end event. Felix and Fingers loved performing for Katherine and Peter’s wedding in downtown Indianapolis. With stunning views and a great location the Columbia Club is a perfect choice for your next special event.
Columbia Club Wedding Indianapolis
Felix and Fingers arrived in downtown Indianapolis to perform for this sophisticated wedding. Our performers were Mike Potts and Greg Percifield. They set up on the 10th floor in the Grand Ballroom. The Columbia Club is an exclusive, private club that has been planning events for over 125 years. Your small rehearsal dinner or large banquet reception will be provided with everything you need. No detail will be overlooked ensuring your guests will enjoy exquisite dining. Please click here for more information on the Columbia Club.
Prior to the Columbia Club wedding, Peter contacted Mike letting him know his love of Queen. Even more so, Peter made it clear the wedding could be an all Queen event. Katherine did not approve, so it never happened. Mike Potts played a 45 minute cocktail hour solo on his saxophone. After an incredible dinner, guest were ready to get the party started. The bridesmaids provided an awesome LOVE letter game.
Singing, Dancing and Bodysurfing
Not only do Felix and Fingers offer a dueling piano show, we are multi-instrumental. For example, the bride and groom requested a drummer. We brought Will along, he’s also a dueling pianist with great vocals. For that fact, Will was a great addition to the Columbia Club wedding. Felix and Fingers kicked off the evening with Come on Eileen by Dexys Midnight Runners. Mike did an amazing job of working the crowd getting everyone singing and dancing!
Furthermore, the bride and groom had some great “must play” requests. The Devil Went Down to Georgia by the Charlie Daniels Band had the dance floor packed. Moreover, an acoustic version of Layla by Eric Clapton allowed guests to slow dance or take a break to grab a cocktail. As a result of cocktail grabbing, the crowd decided to get a little rowdy. The groom was a big guy (compared to Mike) although that didn’t stop the crowd from body surfing him around the ballroom!
