The Topaz Cafe Wedding Burr Ridge again brought Felix and Fingers to this great location. Christine and Markos held a delightful wedding at The Topaz Cafe that included both of their daughters. It was a touching ceremony that brought joy not only to the couple, but to both of their families.
Topaz Cafe Wedding Burr Ridge
You can find the Topaz Cafe in the charming village center of Burr Ridge, Illinois. This trendy spot is just minutes from downtown Chicago and offers a chic urban vibe. It wasn’t the first time Felix and Fingers Dueling Pianos has played there and we found this time to be just as perfect as the last time. We can’t say enough about the food as it is just delicious. Delectable dishes with a modern vibe add to the trendiness of this restaurant and will have you coming back again and again. While it’s an awesome restaurant, it’s even better for an intimate wedding celebration.
Their large private dining room will seat up to 75 comfortably for dinner. The patio seats 100 and you could reserve the entire restaurant for a larger party between 250 and 300. If you’re planning your wedding to be on the smaller side, we highly recommend The Topaz Cafe. Please click here to view more of this venue. Whether you’re looking for a great new date night spot or the perfect private party location, this gem is for you.
What a Bunch of Caricatures
For the Topaz Cafe Wedding Burr Ridge, the bride’s daughter served as maid of honor and the groom’s daughter served as best person. There was not a dry eye in the house as the guests watched this family come together in unison. And with some younger people in attendance, Christine and Markos made sure to provide some fun entertainment to keep them busy. The magician was awesome! We could tell the younger guests loved him as did the older ones. But the most fun was the caricatures. The couple had a large caricature of themselves for guests to sign and the artist stayed to perform his craft for all the guests. It was fun to see the smiles as people shared their fun personalized artwork with each other.
But then it was time for the real entertainment to begin and Felix and Fingers Dueling Pianos took the stage. We had this group rocking, rolling, and singing along for the rest of the evening. The younger kids wanted to hear some fun Disney tunes and we always love that. Classic rock seemed to rule the night after that. Songs like Van Morrison’s Brown Eyed Girl had our brown eyed bride kicking it up and Aerosmith’s Walk This Way showed us some great moves. Queen’s Bohemian Rhapsody showed us that this group could really belt out the tunes as well. What a fun night it was and since we we’re playing on the patio, we loved seeing the guests cuddling up around the fire pits as the night became cooler.
