The Hyatt Regency TMA annual dinner brought together over 300 employees to mix and mingle during our dueling piano show.  Felix and Fingers had an amazing time performing at this event.  Not only was TMA celebrating 93 years in business, they also wanted to acknowledge their hard working employees with a fabulous party.  This was a HUGE crowd and we couldn’t wait to get started!

Hyatt Regency TMA Annual Dinner Rosemont

Hyatt Regency TMA Annual DinnerNo matter if you are thinking of a large convention or an intimate celebration, the Hyatt Regency O’Hare will accommodate your every need.  This hotel holds the largest ballroom outside of Chicago and it’s a grand room indeed!  Furthermore, the Hyatt Regency is sky-walk connected to the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center (if more room needed) and provides state-of-the-art audiovisual and tech support.  If you would like further information on the Hyatt Regency O’Hare please click here.

This whole party was 1920’s themed, complete with a photo booth offering fedoras. Our client went all out hiring an entertainment company to perform video projection, sound mics and provide stage drapes for decoration.  It all looked amazing!  Our performers for the Hyatt Regency TMA annual dinner were T. Duncan Parker and Jim Gritschke.  We played live cocktails in a private foyer room complete with piano and then moved into the Rosemont Ballroom with the crowd.  Anytime you can have guests in different rooms and play for them it sure adds to the event!  Shout out to Mike and his team from MDM Entertainment providing an amazing and clean stage with crystal clear sound in all rooms.  These were also the guys responsible for the dynamic dance floor lighting during our show!

A Groovy Kinda Night

Hyatt Regency TMA Annual DinnerThe majority demographic seemed to enjoy disco music the most.  During dinner and through dessert the requests came in for Sam Cooke’s Twistin’ the Night Away and Hot Stuff by Donna Summer.  Because the dance floor was off to the side there were guests enjoying it all the time.  Another highlight of the evening was the Hyatt staff were instrumental in keeping the flow of the night.  Not only did they decorate beautifully, but they created a very cool looking bar area in the middle of the room.  For example, there were Federalist wine barrels to set your drinks on!

Felix and Fingers know they are having a successful show when there is TONS of dancing.  This was a moreover mature crowd with golden requests, but we can handle any request!  Best song of the night? Jump to It by Aretha Franklin had this audience jumping for joy!  To tell the truth, in a room full of CEO’s and business owners, one is not really sure how the audience will react to Dueling Pianos.  This amazing crowd ended up rocking the dance floor until the VERY LAST SONG.  Everyone had a blast, including us!
