The Donald Stephens Convention Center corporate event was held in a gorgeous, spacious facility that was designed to fit any occasion. Our client, Amerimold 2019, held this spectacular gala to entertain and reward their staff for launching new products and establishing solid partnerships. Felix and Fingers brought their creative dueling piano show to The Donald Stephens Convention Center, located in Rosemont, Illinois. Donald Stephens Convention Center Corporate Event Rosemont Illinois
Any time there is a reason to celebrate a special achievement or milestone, organizing an amazing corporate event is a great way to acknowledge your hard working employees. The Donald Stephens Convention Center corporate event was an opening night party for Amerimold 2019 annual trade show.
Our performers for this glitzy gala were T. Duncan Parker and Robert Deason. This event had everyone talking with a roaring 20’s Great Gatsby theme! The roaring twenties was an era full of decadence and entertainment, therefore an evening of Felix and Fingers cabaret fit perfectly! If you would like to tour the Donald E. Cocktail hour was glamorous. Think decadence and style. A champagne tower made everyone feel like they were in the home of Jay Gatsby himself. Our performers enjoyed a delicious Mint Julep between breaks. The 1920’s were, after all, known as the Jazz Age,so Duncan and Robert played songs such as Cuban Moon by the Carl Fenton’s Orchestra to keep the 20’s vibe. It was great to see everyone on the dance floor in their flapper dresses, ostrich feathers and zoot suits having a BLAST!
Wanted Outlaws and Gambling Tables
To begin with, there was no formal dinner at the Donald Stephens Convention Center corporate event. However, a buffet spread of every appetizer in the world was set out for guests to nibble on. The event manager really knocked this party out of the park. She was amazing! Our performers took this time keeping the crowd happy and mingling to a variety of light background music. Eventually, Robert and Duncan managed to grab a few duck egg rolls, the dipping sauce was deliciously SPICY! This was indeed the ultimate canape menu and perfect for soaking up all that bootleg liquor!
Amerimold 2019 had requested Working Man by Rush as their first “break into party mode” song. Apparently it’s tradition! No sooner than Duncan hit the first few notes, everyone rushed the dance floor. Since this was a roaring 20’s theme, there were tons of fun “prohibition” style wanted posters of employees throughout the room. What could possibly make The Donald Stephens Convention Center corporate event more fun you ask? How about FREE gambling tables!! Amerimold 2019 had free gambling and pool tables brought in and guests REALLY enjoyed them!
Above all, there was no limit to fun with a 1920’s themed photo booth, right next to the “prohibition” bar. This ended up being a highlight of the night with the booth almost ending up on it’s side. We’ll blame the Mint Juleps. Duncan and Robert played a ton of awesome requests including 3 Rush songs. Not only did The Trees, Xanadu and Red Barchetta have EVERYONE on the dance floor, but they were singing out LOUD! Above all, Amerimold 2019 spared no expense and treated guests to a high end cigar roller. This made the evening even more special, giving guests their own hand rolled cigar to take home!
