Felix and Fingers had a jingle bell good time performing at the Forest Hills Country Club holiday party. Our talented performers for this happy holiday event were Jake Ashey and Greg Percifield. They donned their elf hats and rode their sleigh to the Forest Hills Country Club located in Rockford, Illinois. Felix and Fingers brought a fun dueling piano show and entertained their audience with a TON of holiday spirit!
Forest Hills Country Club Holiday Party
The Forest Hills Country Club holiday party was an intimate (about 35 guests) State Bank of Davis group. We LOVE performing for smaller crowds. We get to know everyone quickly. Not only was this fun loving crowd attentive, but totally interactive. We thought that was AWESOME. Forest Hills Country Club has 6 private dining rooms that will accommodate up to 300 guests. Furthermore, this club specializes in personalized planning. Hence, catering to your every need. No event is too large or small for this country club. Cocktail hour was a success. Song requests with Christmas flair piled up quickly. We played modern takes on some great classics as well as traditional tunes that everyone enjoyed! Felix and Fingers nailed Christmas Tree by Lady Gaga, then followed through with a nostalgic White Christmas by Bing Crosby. Guests enjoyed a Fireball signature drink while Swedish meatballs made their rounds. The baked Brie with cranberry-pecan-bacon crumble was out of this world!
Presidential Participation and Tons of Singing
Guests were treated to an amazing sit down meal. The Forest Hills Country Club holiday party spared no expense with a chef inspired menu. Therefore, the pork loin was absolutely delicious! Jason (a State Bank of Davis employee volunteer) had the experience of being our human alphabet. This now forever scarred employee, along with Linda (State Bank of Davis President) took part in the LOVE game. Everyone laughed so hard as they spelled the word LOVE out with their bodies. GOOD TIMES indeed!
Felix and Fingers got a little creative towards the end of their dueling piano show. Not only did our performers throw out holiday jokes, but they had the audience play musical trivia games. This turned out to be one of the most personable shows Felix and Fingers have ever played. Because of the intimate size of our audience, it created a wonderful dialogue with our crowd!
Alex, (another Bank of Davis employee) came up and wanted to sing. He courageously yet beautifully serenaded everyone with his rendition of All of Me by John Legend. To tell the truth, he sounded WONDERFUL! Our last song of the night was a sing off. We split the room in two and burned up our pianos with Bennie and The Jets by Elton John. One side sang Bennie and the other sang “Beignet” and “Jennie”. It was SO MUCH FUN!
