Here at Felix and Fingers, we love to return to our favorite venues. And the Silver Lake Country Club is one of them. This Silver Lake wedding event brought us back to Orland Park, Illinois to play for the wedding of Kelly and Phillip.

We love the comfort of returning to a venue where we know we will be taken care of with excellence and professionalism. For one thing, we know the food will be delicious. Even the late night pizza snack was just perfect. Next, we love the ballroom. It is elegant and sophisticated while remaining comfortable and approachable. A delicate balance to create in our opinion. Finally, we love the staff. Our newly married couple’s last name is Bilotta and we loved their super cool hashtag. More importantly, we loved their two best men. For the wedding toast, we thought we must have been at a comedy club listening to a professional comedic duo. These two guys were hilarious. The back and forth exchange had everyone in stitches! What a fun start to this Silver Lake wedding event reception.
And the fun didn’t stop there! We brought along one of our favorite drummers, Rueben. Yes, you can add musicians to our dueling piano players! We feel that the addition of a drummer is one of the best choices. For certain, it adds so much to our already fabulous shows. Think about it when you call to schedule your reception entertainment. We’ll be happy to help you make the choices that will have your guests in awe and talking about your big day for months.
First of all, we had some great requests from this crowd. We love to play Brown Eyed Girl by Van Morrison and hear everyone Sha-La-La-La-ing from the dance floor and from the tables. Next, we moved to some dated pop punk songs and they went nuts. There must have been some great fans of late 90’s to 2000’s alternative rock out there. Seems like everyone was reliving their junior high and high school memories. All in all, everyone had a great time and was singing their way out the door as they grabbed their Krispy Kreme doughnut parting gift.
