Silver Lake Country Club in Orland Park Il makes for a beautiful wedding venue. Felix and Fingers had the pleasure of playing there this past June for what was sure to be a phenomenal wedding!

Silver Lake Country Club is home to two 18 hole championship golf courses along with an executive 9 hole course, and even though your wedding guests may not be golfers, you can’t help but appreciate the beautiful scenery that the courses provide. And being surrounded by so much land means that you’re fully secluded from busy roads and unwanted noises that could interrupt a ceremony.
The banquet facility was separated into two wedding halls, both of which were well suited for wedding entertainment and receptions. I also believe SLCC (Silver Lake Country Club) has a couple beautiful wedding ceremony locations on site for brides and grooms to utilize.

Our bride and groom for this wedding were absolutely great (both great to work with and cool people in general!), and thankfully, their friends followed suit. From the delicious food to the wonderful montage to the dancing on the ceiling, it was a great reception! If I remember correctly, one of the guests lost their jacket/car keys, which is always a sign that people had a good time 🙂
Montage: Use the F&F Projector
I believe this wedding was the first or second engagement that utilized our projector for a montage. Honestly I’m not sure why more brides don’t utilize this. Our system is set up so that we can control the projector from an iPhone or iPad. If you can play something on your mobile devise, we can play it on a big screen! Montages are a great way to add a special something to a wedding. You can’t go wrong with a simple picture slide show (baby photos are best!) set to music. It’s one of those wedding add-ons that people just don’t forget.

SLCC is quickly become one of our favorite venues and we’ve thoroughly enjoyed working with Amy and her staff. These people really know weddings and know how to run an event. The staff has always been exceptionally friendly. When it comes to a wedding, the staff personality really makes a big difference. We currently have more weddings at Silver Lake Country Club on the books and are excited for the next wedding season!
