The Monte Bello Estate, in Lemont, Illinois, is not your typical wedding venue. This is a mansion that has been turned into a beautiful event space. The grounds are just fabulous. You will find 55 acres of ponds and waterfalls, perfect for the background of any special picture. The floor to ceiling windows of the venue will have you gasping in awe at the incredible natural views. This is a highly unique event space and we hope to soon return. Heck No, Please Don’t Go!
Our bride and groom had seen us play before and loved us. So, of course, when it was their turn to celebrate a wedding, they called Felix and Fingers. We were more than happy to oblige! The bride had a plan with four specific songs that we were to play immediately after the first dance. She knew her guests and knew that these songs would have everyone out on the dance floor in no time. And she was right! Not that we ever need any help with this as our players pride themselves on packing the dance floor, but it’s always nice when someone makes our job just a bit easier. Finally, we had to call it quits as the shuttles were waiting to return guests to their hotel. Yet all we heard was the crowd booing and complaining that they didn’t want it to end. A successful night indeed!
