Warren Henderson Scholarship Dinner
Felix and Fingers celebrated the next generation of farmers in Monmouth, IL’s American Legion’s venue. The Warren-Henderson Farm Bureau recognized outstanding students during this memorable evening. Not only was each student honored with a $2,000 scholarship, but all students and guests had a throw-down of a night! The event took place at the American Legion #136 in Monmouth, conveniently located for all guests. The venue had an awesome stage for Felix and Fingers’ performance, and there was room for all to dance to their favorite songs. Country Music, Scholarships, and The Gator
Felix and Fingers probably had more fun than they should have at the annual Warren Henderson Scholarship Dinner.
The event honored local youth for their achievements, and guests were treated to the amazing talents of Katherine and Jake’s dueling pianos. The guests crooned to Carrie Underwood’s Before He Cheats and swayed to Lynyrd Skynyrd’s Free Bird. The most memorable moment was when we all learned “The Gator,” and enjoyed the knee slapping, hand clapping, laying down on the floor fun.
Everyone in this community chipped in to make this night successful. Village Bean Events and Catering came through with amazing customized, toasted marshmallows. In fact, their entire buffet was outstanding. Check out their amazing creations at this link. Many donated impressive items to the silent auction, and Felix and Fingers contributed their overflowing tip jar to the worthy cause!
