We played at Off The Vine Winery for the Momence Winery surprise wedding of Jessica and Alec. What a great small venue that allowed for an intimate and touching wedding ceremony.

Off The Vine Winery is a wine bar as well as a full service espresso bar. So while our performer, Mike, doesn’t normally drink when performing, he sure loves his coffee. Therefore, he was beyond pleased when they made him some excellent lattes. Here, you can find an excellent selection of wines, cheeses, meats, and even gift baskets. This is really a quaint venue with lots of character. Since our bride and groom were hosting a small, intimate gathering for their wedding, Off The Vine was just the perfect size. Surprise, Surprise!
As both Jessica and Alec’s families gathered for the Thanksgiving holiday, they thought they were also going to celebrate the couple’s engagement. Everyone thought they were meeting at Off The Vine Winery for an engagement party. Only the bride, groom, and her parents knew that this was going to be the actual wedding! Even the groom’s parents were in the dark. Believe us, the looks of surprise and glee on the guests’ faces were priceless! No one suspected a thing.
After the (joyful) shock and the surprise ceremony, this group was ready to party. Thankfully, the bar was only 20 feet away from the altar! What a great time everyone had. We have a special appreciation for small, intimate gatherings such as this Momence Winery surprise wedding. We’re so close and get to interact with each member of the audience much more so than in large groups. By the end of the evening, it felt as if we were all long lost friends. Truly a special evening. We sang and danced the night away with old favorites like Frank Sinatra’s I’ve Got The World On A String and The Way You Look Tonight. Billy Joel’s Piano Man had us all in a circle, singing along. And we made sure the classic rock and roll lovers heard their favorites too. For example, the Rolling Stones’ Satisfaction and The Who’s Baba O’Reilly were two favorites that went over very well.
