The rustic charm of Delairs Country Road Farms in Manhattan, Illinois was the perfect backdrop for an unforgettable wedding celebration, filled with country music and the captivating melodies of Felix And Fingers Dueling Pianos.
A Rustic Setting for a Romantic Celebration
The wedding was held at the elegant County Line Farms, a sprawling property with a ceremony space overlooking a fishing pond. The repurposed barn was decked out beautifully with stringy lights and farmhouse decor, setting the stage for Liz and Peter’s intimate 100 person wedding celebration.
Country Music and Dueling Pianos
This was a country music crowd! Guests enjoyed singing along to country music classics all throughout cocktail hour, and the bride and groom shared their romantic first dance to Steve Holy’s “Good Morning Beautiful”.
Creating Memorable Moments
The highlight of the evening was when Mike, one of the talented pianists, created an incredibly adorable moment. He started “Old Time Rock n Roll”, and enlisted the help of the adolescent boys to slide across the dance floor in their socks after the iconic piano intro, a la Risky Business. It was a memorable moment that added a dash of fun and spontaneity to the evening!
