This venue is located in Chicago and pays tribute to Harry Caray, the beloved Chicago Cubs hall of fame sportscaster. Felix and Fingers had a BLAST with their audience at the Harry Caray’s Italian Steakhouse wedding event. Everyone was SO NICE and treated us like family. We had a hysterical intro for the bride and groom. Mike Sherman delivered it perfectly. “She’s a Cubs fan, he’s a Cardinals’s fan…she likes to workout, he likes to eat rice!”. Rhandie and Dana added a drummer to our dueling piano show and there was a string quartet at the ceremony. For example, there was a cello and classical guitar duo for cocktails and dinner. All in all, this made for a very musical evening. Rhandie enjoys playing guitar and bass, so this part of their wedding was very important!
Special Filipino Traditions and TONS of Dancing!
Rhandie and his family are Filipino so there were lots of special traditions. For example, one in particular that stood out was a special dance between mother and son. It was beautiful. Our performers kept everyone HAPPY while cracking jokes and playing song requests. Not only was the Harry Caray’s Italian Steakhouse wedding event beautiful, but it was knock out formal to the nines. Some guests were even in traditional Filipino Barong. We couldn’t help but notice the uplights matching the mauve accents. They looked GREAT!
Above all, the groom’s son gave a speech. By the time he finished, everyone could tell he will be a good public speaker some day. He did a great job. One of the groom’s brother’s couldn’t attend this wedding. Hence, Felix played an audio message and had it sent over the sound system! This crowd LOVED the 80’s. Our performers played double time keeping up with the hair band requests. The first note of Talk Dirty to Me by Poison had the dance floor PACKED. We played Guns & Roses while everyone put their hands in the air, jumped around and sang at the tops of their lungs. It was EPIC.
