Felix and Fingers always love returning to perform at the Itasca Country Club in Itasca, Illinois. Tim and Jessica hired us for their beautiful Itasca Country Club wedding. The Itasca Country Club will provide everything you need to make your private or public event a special day.
Itasca Country Club Wedding Elegance
The Itasca Country Club holds rich history dating back to 1925. The Village of Itasca’s Historical Preservation Committee designates this country club as a Historical Landmark. Because of the lush and natural habitat the country club sits on, the National Audubon Society has deemed this a “Certified Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary.” This family friendly, private country club has a beautiful golf course, pool and banquet facility. Furthermore, Itasca Country Club’s banquet and catering spaces are open to the public. If you are interested in holding your next private or public event at the Itasca Country Club click here.
As guests entered the Grand Ballroom, they found the Itasca Country Club wedding reception decorated to impress. For example, guests dined at tables dressed in white linen with gorgeous navy blue accents. In addition, natural floral greens brought wonderful contrast to the decor. Furthermore, when it was time for dinner, an executive chef made sure guests were treated like royalty with an amazing 4 course meal. This included 2 starters, an entree with 2 sides and a custom wedding cake. As a matter of fact, there was a late night sweet station that looked pretty amazing. Mike controlled himself by indulging in a single chocolate covered strawberry after the show.
Our performers for the Itasca Country Club wedding this evening were Duncan and Mike, they raved about the chicken entree. Duncan could have sworn it was a whole chicken. It really wasn’t, just the portions were amazing in size. After a delicious meal, the bar opened around 8:30 p.m. for the next four hours of fun and dancing.
Highlights of the Evening
In addition to performing many great songs, Felix and Fingers really had the crowd going with a 90’s medley they pulled off. A few highlights of the evening were Barbie Girl by Aqua, Genie in a Bottle by Christina Aguilera and End of the Road by Boyz II Men. Besides playing songs, guests had a lot of fun with our cowbell competition. Additionally, we raised money for Tim and Jessica’s honeymoon fund, the newlyweds will be traveling to Hawaii. Someone really wanted to hear Have I Told You Lately by Rob Stewart and dropped $20 bucks in our tip jar!
