Great Lakes Athletic Trainer Social Event Wheeling

Great Lakes Athletic Trainer Social EventFelix and Fingers have performed for the Great Lakes Athletic Trainer social event over the last 5 years, each year trumping the last. This was a night to remember. Our performers for the Great Lakes Athletic Trainer social event were Jennifer Lee Knuth and Mike Sherman. A power duo to say the least. Not only do these players have a blast at every event, but they are experts with crowd participation. Felix and Fingers would like give a shout out to The Westin Chicago North Shore staff. Everyone is always friendly, attentive and helpful at this gorgeous venue. You can find more information about hosting your next event at The Westin Chicago North Shore by clicking here.

Initially, the crowd was shy and moderately interacting with us.  Felix and Fingers had no trouble turning up the heat.  After a few songs, cocktails and direct conversations with the crowd, everyone flooded to the dance floor staying there most of the night.  With over 300 guests in attendance, the majority in their early 20’s, we received a lot of fun requests. Felix and Fingers love the fact Baby Got Back by Sir Mix-A-Lot broke the ice and quickly set the wild party tone! This ended up being one wild and crazy crowd that definitely met our expectations!

Huge Crowd Everyone Included

Great Lakes Athletic Trainer Social EventThis crowd loved RAP music!  A group of over 300 guests in the early 20’s totally freaked out when Mike performed Rap God by Eminem.  As if that wasn’t enough, Jennifer and Mike performed an epic duet of Forget About Dre by Eminem.  Now that the Jonas Brothers are back together there were a few requests for their songs.  Golden oldies to new releases, our performers love the challenge of a performing current hot song such as Sucker by the Jonas Brothers.  We nailed it!  Since this event was a social party, it was super simple but SUPER FUN.  Our client provided the cocktails and bags of popcorn. Felix and Fingers brought the PARTY!

As the night progressed the dance floor was packed.  Felix and Fingers have never seen The Worm performed so much in one event.  As one guest performed The Worm early in the evening, from then on people would drop and randomly perform The Worm across the floor.  Furthermore, a 200 person conga line broke out on the dance floor with a guest in a wheelchair at the front of the line. With everyone having an amazing time the HAPPY look on the line leaders face was priceless!

One of the most memorable moments of last year’s event was at the end of the night when everyone was ATTEMPTING to do the “Dirty Dancing Lift”.  As we were playing our last song and everyone shouted ENCORE we knew what had to happen this year.  Jennifer and Mike performed an amazing rendition of Time of My Life Bill Medley and Jennifer Warnes.  It was as EPIC as last year!
