The Redfield Estate is part of Glenview’s park district. You can rent this entire historic home for your event. Your guests will enjoy all it has to offer including the Great Room with fireplace and loft, cathedral ceilings, chandeliers, and an out of this world two-story leaded glass window. Bride’s will feel special preparing for their big day in the charming bride’s room and guests will enjoy the large outdoor covered pavilion, fireplace and all. Our couple, Rebecca and Ross, chose to have their ceremony right on the

In a Box, With a Fox?
The officiant read the entire ceremony from a hand crafted Dr. Seuss like book. The groom, an artist, had done the illustrations and it was quite impressive. What a treasure to keep forever and ever. But then it was time to hit the dance floor and we found something we’ve never come across before. Whenever we think we’ve seen it all at weddings, some 
other new experience reminds us that we will never see everything. For the Grove Redfield Estate Wedding, during Tina Turner’s Proud Mary, the group would roll around on the floor whenever the Rollin’ part came. Yes, that’s a new one for us.
