The historic venue for the Evanston Golf Club Wedding made this a very classy affair. Felix and Fingers Dueling Pianos had a wonderful time playing for the wedding of Erik and Nicole. Congratulations to the happy couple!
Evanston Golf Club Wedding Venue
The Evanston Golf Club dates from 1886 and is jam packed with vintage charm and sophistication. This fancy wedding took up the entire top floor of the building and had some very nice golf course views. The cathedral wood beamed ceilings, along with beautiful chandeliers and expert decorations, gave this event a very elegant feeling. This historic golf club can host parties of any size from twelve to 500. And one can certainly tell that they’ve been doing it for quite some time. Felix and Fingers performers were very impressed with the way they handled everyone and everything with professionalism and ease. Perfect from the Start
After a romantic and beautiful ceremony, the bridal party entered the reception to Lady Gaga’s and Bradley Cooper’s Shallow from the movie “A Star is Born.” The bride’s sister gave a hilarious speech ranking family members in competition categories. As appropriate, she was sure to give her 
sister the “prettiest” award. After dinner, guests enjoyed an amazing sweets table with tons of Italian cookies. This was a delicious touch honoring the bride’s Sicilian heritage.
Then it was time for Felix and Fingers! With 90% of the room on the dance floor during the very first song, we knew it was going to be an awesome night. And we weren’t wrong. 90’s music ruled the night and we played a lot of great tunes such as Truly Madly Deeply from Savage Garden and The Sign from Ace of Base. One major highlight of the night was everyone singing along to The Killers’ Mr. Brightside. Per the bride and groom’s request, the last song of the evening was Everlong by The Foo Fighters. In our opinion, it was an excellent way to end the night.
