What a blast everyone had at this Emmett’s Brewery 50th Birthday Party in Downers Grove, Illinois. Our birthday girl, Lisa, is a huge Bon Jovi fan and 80’s music ruled the night. Felix and Fingers Dueling Pianos love birthday parties, especially milestone ones like this.
Emmett’s Brewery 50th Birthday Party Venue
If you’re in the Downers Grove, IL area, be sure to check out Emmett’s Brewery. Not only will you find great beer, but their food is quite excellent too. For Lisa’s party, we had heavy appetizers including chicken strips and kabobs, Everything was delicious. The staff was very friendly and served this large group with ease. And for a birthday party, it was a large group indeed. Nearly 75 people came out to celebrate with Lisa, her husband, and her two daughters. Luckily, the Founder’s Room at Emmett’s seats up to 90. Eighties All The Way
Lisa was turning 50 so we knew it was going to be a night full of tunes from the 80’s. And we weren’t wrong. The birthday girl and her friends tore up the dance floor dancing to songs like Bon Jovi’s Livin’ On a Prayer, Sweet Child O’ Mine from Guns-N-Roses, and Rick Springfield’s Jessie’s Girl. Tommy Tutone’s Jenny had everyone shouting 8-6-7-5-3-o-9 at the top of their lungs.
Remember Glamour Shots from the 90’s? Lisa’s husband had a banner made with her 90’s Glamour Shot as well as her senior high school picture. All the guests signed it before they left. Most wrote touching sentiments but there were a couple of very funny ones too. They are sure to keep Jenny smiling all the way until she turns 60. We hope they have us back for that!
