It was another Haight Wedding Day for Felix and Fingers Dueling Pianos! Our performers, Katrina and Chris, headed to Elgin, Illinois for the wonderful wedding of Katie and Kierstie. A heartfelt congratulations goes out to our happy couple!
Another Haight Wedding Day Venue
We’ve performed at The Haight dozens of times and we’ve never been disappointed. In fact, if you’re in the area and need to celebrate, a Felix and Fingers/The Haight combination is highly recommended. It truly is one of our favorite venues. The building dates from 1890 and is full of vintage charm. This family-owned property has been lovingly preserved and renovated. You’ll find exposed brick walls and wood-beamed ceilings that really set the vibe. It’s the perfect atmosphere for today’s modern couples. Our most favorite thing about The Haight, however, is their staff. This crew really knows how to take care of everything wedding related. They do it all with professionalism and ease. Touching Speeches and Dancing the Night Away
Dinner began with some incredibly touching speeches. We must admit, they even brought tears to our eyes. Of course, since we provided our state of the art P.A. system, no one missed a single word. It’s just another benefit of hiring Felix and Fingers. After dinner came the dancing and this group wouldn’t stop. They loved our show and had some awesome requests. Gloria 
Gaynor’s I Will Survive brought everyone to the dance floor. Teenage Dream from Katy Perry kept them there. Bedrock from Young Money was also a huge hit. One of our favorites, however, was Tina Turner’s Proud Mary. This song brought out a huge group with amazing backup singer/dancer moves.
Katie and Kierstie stayed on the dance floor with their friends and family all night. What a great time they were having. We have to say, we’ve never seen a dance circle to Do-Re-Mi before but Katie loved it. That was definitely a one of a kind wedding request. Line dances were also huge at this reception. These included The Wobble and Danzo Kuduro. What a great night it was celebrating the love of these two. It was even better to celebrate it during Pride month. How fun!
