Eaglewood Resort Wedding
Not far from our home base of Crystal Lake, Il, Felix and Fingers found The Eaglewood Resort. We loved this venue. To begin, the ceremony was set up on one of the main tees of the golf course. 
There was plenty of room for everyone and the background scenery was just gorgeous. Following that, we moved to the rooftop bar for cocktails. This space, overlooking the entire grounds, was the perfect spot for cocktails and passed hors d’oeurvres. And of course, everyone admired the view.
Finally, it was time for dinner in the ballroom and we must report that this resort serves some of the best wedding dinner fare around. The scallops were awesome! We also enjoyed the fresh vegetables and even the make your own popcorn bar that was there for late night snacking. Dance Party Fun
We love when we have a ton of requests for 90’s dance music because we know that it will be an awesome dancing crowd. No encouragement needed from our professional entertainers. This group kept the dance floor full the whole night. There was never a moment of down time. For this reception, we brought along a super talented drummer. We highly recommend adding the option of a drummer as it helps to seamlessly transition from tune to tune while keeping the energy high all evening.
Occasionally, one of the guests will join us on stage. In this case, it was the bride’s brother. He knew every single word to Billy Joel’s We Didn’t Start the Fire. So we had to have him help us sing the lead vocals. And what a great job he did!
