We played light music during the exquisite sit down dinner from RPM, but after that, it was time to belt out some tunes. This group kept us hopping with request after request and we were able to play them all. In fact, we played everything from Robert Johnson’s Sweet Home Chicago to Lynyrd Skynyrd’s Sweet Home Alabama. The crowd sounded great belting out some superb dueling piano classics such as Journey’s Don’t Stop Believin’. My Own Worst Enemy by Lit even made an appearance.
We were having a blast with one great song after another until, finally, it was time to call it a night. Despite their excitement to keep us playing, we thought it best (as did the wedding couple), to get some rest for the actual wedding the next day. We thought having us for the rehearsal dinner was a great idea. We usually do the wedding reception, but we certainly enjoyed the more relaxed atmosphere and especially had a great time with this lively crew. Best wishes to Libby and Grady!
