Have you thought about having a party after your party? After playing for the Field Museum Wedding After Party, we think it’s a great idea! And you know an after party is going to be a bit wild but that’s what we like here at Felix and Fingers–a little wild and crazy makes us very happy.
Field Museum Wedding After Party
We play for so many weddings we have seen just about every type of wedding venue. And we can’t think of a better place to host your big day than the Field Museum in Chicago, Illinois. It is such a grand building. Your guests will be in awe as they enter amongst the dinosaurs and head to one of their excellent party venue options. This wedding and dinner reception took place upstairs in an opulent setting. Following that, they headed downstairs to a much more casual and modern space. This was meant to be more of a club atmosphere and there were some excellent full table game choices. We saw guests enjoying beer pong and fuse ball among others.
The club/bar vibe continued with a scotch cart, a cigar bar, and a real bar, of course. Guests could relax on comfortable furniture or mingle around the spacious room. They could also head outside to enjoy their fine cigars. We loved the laid back vibe and casualness after a fancy wedding party. Everyone let loose and had a wonderful time. Full Band Night of Fun
There is nothing like hanging out in your own bar space with over a hundred of your closest friends and family, especially if there is a full band playing. That is what we had at the Field Museum Wedding After Party. Our couple chose to add drums and guitars to our normal dueling piano show. This is a great option that we offer and we love a full band sound. We played all kinds of great hits such as Cheap Trick’s I Want You to Want Me and We’re an American Band by Grand Funk Railroad. More modern requests made quite a hit too. We played Body Talks by The Struts and Foster the People’s Worst Nites. There was also a very touching moment when we played a custom written song for the bride’s father for his birthday at midnight. What a great, and late, night it was.
