The Situation….
When someone calls the Felix and Fingers hotline, or emails us about an upcoming gig, we never quite know what request someone is going to ask. We’ve done everything from superstar football fundraiser galas with hundreds of people, to singing telegrams in the Rosemont Center in the middle of a bar singing Spice Girls. We pride ourselves on being THE MOST versatile dueling pianos company we know of, and on the 18th, we proved it yet again.
Bliss Weddings And Events….
We were hired by Bliss Weddings And Events recently to be part of a huge wedding at the Field Museum in Chicago. Now, normally, Felix and Fingers handles your whole wedding or event, but other agencies, entertainment groups, and special event organizers hire us for their events as well. We do it all! Working with Bliss was, well, simply blissful. Organized, particular and incredibly tasteful, the whole planning procedure was easy and excellent. We arrived for our portion informed and ready to have a huge party.
Field Museum????
So, I have been to the Field Museum a number of times. Like, more than 20 times in my lifespan. I know the building inside and out. But, when I walked into the East Entrance, I didn’t even recognize the building. Bliss and the Field Museum staff completely changed the layout of the hallway, and made a nightclub out of the East ticket entrance.
I Count 4 instruments…Is That A Piano????
One of the options when you hire Felix and Fingers for your event is the addition of extra musicians. We have a wide network of entertainers and professionals to call on for any set up. Playing with a drummer and a guitar player really amps up the sound of the pianos, and ensures a busy, super-fun dance floor. You can add extra players to your event at any time, just call and let us know!

Once the guests came down from the reception to the after party that we were hosting, the party really got going. The Bride changed into a shorter, yet still extremely white dress, and everyone really let go. There were beer pong tables, corn hole boxes, two bars, couch groups, a cigar bar, and a scotch cart among other things. *radio noise* Excuse me, I’m corrected. They had Fancy Beer Pong and Fancy Corn Hole and Fancy Cigar Selections with a Scotch Cart. (Scotch is always fancy.) Honestly, It’s better to just see for yourselves…..
SUPER FUN CRAZY DANCE PARTY!!!!!
Honestly, that’s exactly what happened. It was one of the more fun gigs I’ve played in a while. People were having a blast, we were having a blast, and the staff was singing along the whole time as well! If there’s one thing we are absolutely known for, its our ability to get people on their feet and having a great time.
