The atmosphere at Marshall’s Landing in Chicago was electrifying on the evening of December 14, 2024. The occasion? The Felix And Fingers Dueling Pianos event, a night that combined the elegance of a corporate event with the high-energy fun of a piano duel.
Legendary Venue, Unforgettable Night
The Merchandise Mart, once the largest building in the U.S., played host to what can only be described as the Greatest Dueling Pianos Act in the Universe. Yes, that’s right – Felix And Fingers took to the stage in this legendary space, bringing their unique blend of music and entertainment to an eager crowd.
The event was the first holiday party for ARCO/Murray, Chicago’s big construction company. It was an honor for Felix And Fingers to kick off this tradition with them. The evening began with a sophisticated cocktail hour, where Chris, one of the performers, showcased his jazz cocktail skills with some lovely instrumental piano music.
A Night of Fun and Frolic
As the night progressed, the event took on a more playful tone. The crowd, younger on average, really had fun with some of the newer songs like Pink Pony Club. At one point, they even formed a dance circle, with everyone taking a turn in the middle.
The party was in full swing, the drinks were flowing, and the crowd was having a great time. It was a pleasure to welcome Jake Carter, a performer from Hawaii. We hope he loved Chicago as much as we loved his performance!
