One of Felix and Fingers favorite things is to play along the shores of Lake Michigan. And that is what we did at this Chicago Yacht Club wedding.
Chicago Yacht Club Wedding
Mike and Sam were our entertainers at this fun wedding. The Chicago Yacht Club’s Belmont Harbor location is a floating structure and we felt the rocking of the gentle waves all night. Looking South to Lincoln Park and North to Lakeview, the location is excellent–great lake views and great city views. And not far from all of the wonderful attractions the Windy City has to offer. In addition, the bride’s family had their sailboat at this harbor and were able to take some awesome family photos aboard their vessel.
Not only were we impressed by the location, we thought the staff and the food choices were awesome too. Very friendly, yet professional, staff. The food was delicious. Back Flips and Hand Stands
Our bride and groom, Beth and Doug, are trained gymnasts. So there were a lot of things going on that we have never seen at a wedding before. And we do a LOT of weddings! For example, instead of clinking glasses to make the bride and groom kiss, people had to do a back flip or some other gymnastics move. So fun and we saw some awesome stuff. There was also a hand stand competition. We’re wondering what the pictures of that look like as some people, like the bride, were in dresses.
We played some awesome music for this fun group. Mike’s favorite was most likely ACDC’s Thunderstruck. We love to watch people rocking out to that tune. We also played quite a bit of 90’s dance music too. 
Always a sure thing to keep the dance floor packed. The requests kept coming all night and we kept up. It’s always so special to be a part of something that the wedding couple will remember forever. We take our commitment to providing fantastic memories of your big day very seriously.
