30th Birthday Bash Celebration Chicago Illinois
If you haven’t visited Chicago, IL yet, make sure to place it on your bucket list. With skyscrapers that will make your jaw drop and an ethnic diversity second to none, this is one amazing city. From the small cafes to the glamorous Michelin restaurants, the hustle and bustle will keep you busy all day long. Chicago is famous for a few things you may be familiar with; Chicago-style hot dogs, Chicago-style (deep dish) pizza, Maxwell Street Polish Sausage, jazz music, and 1920s gangsters, especially Al Capone. A Small But Mighty Party Crowd
Felix was so excited to hear we were hired to play a private 30th birthday bash celebration. This time all we needed to provide was our microphone and music. The owners actually rolled in their upright piano into the large living room. How awesome was that? There were about 20 friends and family who attended this party and everyone was having a great time. This fun loving group of party goers wanted a piano bar experience. Requests and singalongs all night long! Furthermore, they rented high boy tables which really made it feel like a fancy event. We loved it.
The 30th birthday bash celebration boy’s favorite song turned out to be The Downeaster ‘Alexa’ by Billy Joel. Felix learned this song by the request of his husband who hired us. We have to say it was indeed amazing. We heard that William had requested this song at different parties for years without luck. Hearing it live was a total treat for him and he LOVED it. All in all, 2 hours of all request piano singalong such as Bohemian Rhapsody by Queen was an awesome time. Guests were really getting into some classics such as Like a Prayer by Madonna. Everyone sounded fabulous. Guests came up and let us know what a great time they had. They even asked for our cards. We are always looking to play new shows in the Chicagoland area. This birthday bash was a success in our books!
