Every February/March is Catholic School Fundraiser season for us. Weddings are all summer, corporate events in December and January, and then February brings the start of the Catholic School Fundraiser season (no joke, we probably do about a dozen in those two months).

Another fundraiser and another trip to central Illinois for a dueling pianos show! With one of our player originally from Springfield, we find ourselves in town fairly frequently. This fundraiser brought us to Christ The King School and their annual fundraising event. Where as some fundraisers rent out banquet halls and event centers, school fundraisers are much more likely to be hosted in the gym – a fun alternative!

Christ the King Springfield brought us in to be the headline entertainment for this evening’s fundraiser. With about 300 people loaded into the gymnasium, the mood was perfect for an amazing night. But we knew that the moment we walked in…
What fundraisers are all about!
You never know with these fundraisers what kind of planners you’ll be working with. Especially when it comes to school fundraisers, parents tend to find themselves in charge. Some parents get a bit stressed out with event planning. These parents offered us a drink the moment we walked in the door – didn’t matter that the bar wasn’t yet set up! The rest of the night progressed in a similar fashion.
Raising Money with Dueling Pianos
Fundraisers and Dueling Pianos shows are just meant for each other. Having an all request show that it tip oriented means we can raise a lot of extra money for which ever organization we’re supporting. And when we donate 100% of tips at every fundraiser, the numbers add us fast. Through in $100 challenges to get a teacher or a priest to dance on stage and you have yourself an unforgettable event. A couple hours into the show and we had raised well over $1000 for the school.
