Thankfully, this Carbon Hill Park Wedding was under a tent because we had quite the rainstorm at the beginning of the ceremony. The rain also came again at the end. People did get a little wet but they seemed to be having a great time singing in the rain.
Carbon Hill Park Wedding
The Village of Carbon Hill is a lovely little town in Grundy County, Illinois. This Carbon Hill Park Wedding took place in the town’s local park. We love a good outdoor wedding but were quite happy our equipment was under a tent as the weather was not cooperating. Their park is available for rentals from May through October. Apple Pie Shots for Everyone
Yummy! There were apple pie shots for everyone placed on all of the tables. We don’t normally drink at our engagements but with everyone talking about how good they were, we had to try just one. Maybe it was the shots, we’re not sure, but this crowd sure livened up and kept our dance floor going well into the night. This group wanted to hear a lot of wedding classics such as Celebration by Kool and the Gang and We Are Family from Sister Sledge. Country music was also a big hit with Faith Hill’s This Kiss and Dixie Road from Lee Greenwood. All in all, it was a great night despite the rain.
