This was our first time playing at a Cantigny Golf Corporate Event and we hope it is not the last! Felix and Fingers Dueling Pianos played for this corporate event at this venue out in Wheaton, Ilinois, a western suburb of Chicago. Cantigny Golf Corporate Event
This event was for the Western Dupage Chamber of Commerce, meaning we played for a bunch of local business owners at their awards banquet. The chamber really works to make a difference in the community, so many of the awards were lifting up businesses for doing just that. As for the venue, it had a unique layout. The room was a continuous loop that took you from the dance floor, through the dining area, through the bar area, and back to the front doors and dance floor. We enjoyed the variety it had to offer, as well as amazing staff! Not to mention, they had excellent food and dessert!
Music and Dancing
We had several different requests throughout the night. The guests loved to dance and we loved their requests. One of our favorites from the evening at this Cantigny Golf Corporate Event is when we played “Sweet Caroline” and had the entire dance floor out dancing and singing. As well, we had a competition as part of the many games we like to play. We had two participants names, Billy and Omar. We renamed them Blo-mar. They were a hoot! The crowd had great energy and we loved performing for them and with them! We hope to be back at this beautiful venue.
