It was off to a small town near the Quad Cities of Illinois and Iowa to play for the Camden Center Wedding Milan. Milan, Illinois is a small town of just over 5000 people. It might be small but their banquet facility is top notch and seats up to 400 people.
Camden Center Wedding Milan
Towns of this size don’t usually have such large banquet facilities so imagine our surprise when we entered the newly remodeled Camden Center in Milan, Illinois. Not only is this venue perfect for weddings, but corporate meetings would be excellent here as well due to their state of the art sound and audiovisual system. That is definitely something your Felix and Fingers performers love! We found the staff to be very accommodating too. All in all, an excellent facility and we hope to return.
Huge Wedding Party
There were over 20 people in this wedding party. There were two best men, a maid of honor, and a matron of honor. With this large of a group, it took us almost the entire song of I Gotta Feeling to introduce them all. There were also a ton of children in attendance. With all of those little ones we had to play some of our favorite Disney tunes. They loved Bare Necessities from “The Jungle Book” as well as “The Lion King’s” I Just 
Can’t Wait to be King.
But we had to please the grown ups too so we started playing all of their 90’s and early 2000’s dance music requests and the crowd went wild. This group was ready to party! They got down to songs such as Beyoncé’s All Night and Who Let the Dogs Out by Baha Men. All 300 guests stayed until the very end and kept the dance floor going. It was a very fun night at the Camden Center Wedding Milan and it was great to hear all of the compliments they gave us.
