Felix and Fingers dueling pianist Mike Potts played a solo performance at the Bull Valley Golf Club memorial service.  Mike’s grandmother, Joy Pahl sadly passed away in August, 2016.  Her family gathered for a private celebration of life.  Family and friends traveled to Bull Valley, Illinois to share beautiful memories in Joy’s honor.

A Special Bull Valley Golf Club Memorial Service

Bull Valley Golf Club Memorial ServiceThe Bull Valley Golf Club is a private club located in Northern Illinois. Here you will find an artfully crafted clubhouse available for your next special event.  Mike had the honor of planning his grandmother’s memorial service with his mother.  Mike’s mom has attended many Felix and Fingers shows, however she had never “worked” with him on an event.  Hence, Mike was able to show her his company’s planning process.  As a matter of fact, we received exceptional hospitality and exclusive planning service at the clubhouse.  If you would like to rent an event room at the Bull Valley Golf Club please click here.

The Bull Valley Golf Club memorial service was truly a special event. Furthermore, the clubhouse presented a perfect atmosphere for an exceptional dining experience.  Guests enjoyed breathtaking views of one of the top golf courses in America.  Moreover, comfortable and elegant surroundings gave the Bull Valley Golf Club memorial service a relaxed feeling.

A Very Enjoyable Afternoon

Bull Valley Golf Club Memorial ServiceThe Bull Valley Golf Club memorial service was a lovely luncheon.  During this beautiful celebration of life, a dedicated staff attended to everyone’s needs.  During the luncheon, Mike played an instrumental mix of background music. The clubhouse provided a projector and screen along with a microphone and podium for the purpose of sharing special memories. There was no dancing at the memorial service, this was strictly a private social event.

Mike had the pleasure of singing 3 songs per his grandfather’s request.  To begin with, You Must Have Been a Beautiful Baby by Bing Crosby had the crowd teary eyed.  Ain’t She Sweet by Milton Ager followed Bing Crosby and eventually Hey Good Lookin’ by Hank Williams finished the show.  Above all, 100 guests in attendance sang along while remembering Joy Pohl.
