Felix and Fingers pulled in to the Bull Valley Country Club entrance yet again this fall for another beautiful wedding ceremony and reception. We’ve played this venue so many times now that it’s beginning to feel like a home away from home 🙂 We love this place. The original Mr. Fingers himself got married here, and if that’s not an endorsement (from someone who does this week in week out) I don’t know what is. First of all, the venue is stunning- perfect for weddings.
Second, the staff is excellent. The wedding coordinator at the Bull Valley Country Club is the best. She knows her stuff. Always on top of everything you need, and always willing to go above and beyond. We’ve been so impressed.
A Beautiful Wedding Venue
The rest of the main floor is a banquet hall, fireplace dining area, and bar. After playing a picture-perfect ceremony outside the Bull Valley Country Club on the rolling slopes with fall colors in the background, we set up our dueling show and got ready to rock the night away. One thing that’s always nice about weddings where we play the ceremony is that it gives us a chance to get the know the crowd a bit more before the show starts. Hopefully, they’re a ton of fun and easy to laugh with (as is the case most of the time). This crowd fit into the “fun” category for sure! Not long after cocktails, the bridal party entered to a cheering crowd, on their feet and swaying to the music blasting overhead. The rest of the night flew: cake cutting, speeches (which included an organized drama presentation from the groomsmen), a blessing, and dinner all seemed like a ten minute blur before starting the first dance. Brief side-note- the Bull Valley Country Club knows what their doing in the cooking department- just saying.
Onto dancing! This is the make or break part of the night…and we made it 🙂 I had the pleasure of playing with the super talented Robert Deason (a newer member of the company), and it was blast. This guy can rock it. Made up medleys on the fly of the audiences favorite artists, crazy high vocals, super good harmonies. Just saying- he’s good. At least the crowd thought so. We had such a great time playing the night away to request after request of good tunes.
