What a great time it was at the Castle Theater Wedding Reception. Felix and Fingers Dueling Pianos was happy to travel to central Illinois to the town of Bloomington and play at this historic venue.
Castle Theater Wedding Reception
We felt honored to perform at the Castle Theater. So many great acts have gone through there that it was an honor to play on the same stage. This historic theater dates from 1916 and has recently gone through a 1.5 million dollar restoration. There are so many possibilities for the main floor set up as the seats are removable. The balcony seats are fixed and it was great seeing guests up there watching our show. This venue can seat anywhere from 300 to 700 people, depending on the configuration. Lights, Camera, Action
We brought along a friend to run the lights. He put on a great show with a wireless DMX board. Hands down, it really added to our performance. The guests at this Castle Theater Wedding Reception were totally ready to participate in our interactive dueling piano show. We had them singing along with a ton of great tunes such as Elvis Presley’s Burning Love and Frankie Valle and the Four Season’s Big Girls Don’t Cry. Don’t worry. We didn’t stay in the past and played some more recent hits as well. Songs like Common’s Glory and Lada Gaga’s Telephone had everyone rocking the dance floor.
